COACHING MISSION STATEMENT
As a coach, it is our responsibility to develop athletes into the best version of themselves, no matter the obstacle, through a superior work ethic and personal determination.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
In a sport like Track and Field, our athletes come in all shapes and sizes and skill sets, thus, there is no one way to coach an entire program. We must create a structured environment while still being able to adapt to all settings and athletes abilities. It is important as coaches, to fill athletes’ minds with positive thoughts and create an environment that allows them to believe in themselves. It is also our goal and responsibility to instill a work ethic that expresses effort and determination, helping our athletes to understand the importance of hard work and having the ability to adapt to any situation to overcome obstacles. Our desire is that the athletes learn to embrace the process of preparing and working towards a goal and the joy of accomplishing it and reaching unchartered ground. Our goal is also to help the athlete feel comfortable and confident in their efforts, even in the face of fear of failure.
